2011 Spring Newsletter

Welcome to D & L Pools new and updated website!  In an effort to keep you abreast of the newest and latest technologies in the pool and spa industry we will be hopefully updating this website monthly.  Any questions you may have regarding anything pool or spa related please feel free to ask via e-mail or in the “contact us” portion of the website.

 

The 2010 season was another great year for us in terms of growth and for that we thank our long-time and new loyal customers.    In these economic times we realize it is difficult for some of our customers to afford and maintain their pool for family and friends.  That is why we continually strive to prescribe the best and least expensive methods of pool care so your overall cost will be kept at a minimum.  During the course of the winter months we have invested thousands of dollars towards the education of our employees, in all areas, so we may serve you better.

 

“Our Store to Your Door”

Our company slogan is so much more than just a “slogan!”  “Our store to your door” water testing lab continues to be very beneficial to a large number of our customers from a piece of mind and convenience standpoint.  Our mobile lab is intended for use by our chemical purchasing customers, as many chemicals purchased elsewhere (read discount “big box stores!”) flat out don’t get the intended results, regardless of their seemingly lower initial cost.  With our mobile lab, we provide computerized pool water testing right at your home for a minimal charge of $15.00 per visit.   If your needs require twice a week testing the charge is just $25.00; well below industry averages of those that provide such services.  We will be happy to deliver any chemistry or pool or spa supplies you may need while we’re there!  If you have purchased your chemicals from other than D & L Pools and are having problems, we will still test your water for you.  After our initial visit, however, customers who still choose to use chemicals from other establishments the subsequent visit charge will be $45.00.  Our testing results and recommended course of corrective action may be hindered by the continued use of products of a sub-standard nature.  We will be happy to recommend an alternative chemistry regiment available from D & L Pools that will surely put a smile on your face and a twinkle to your water!

PROTEAM

EARLY BUY DISCOUNTS AND HOT DEALS & CLOSEOUTS

Our Early Buy for chemical purchases is now going on . . . you even get to pick your discount!  (Are we nice, or what!) Any chemicals bought and paid for during the month of March will receive a 15% discount.  The discount for the month of April is 10%.  Early Buy for chemicals will end April 30, 2011.  This is a great time to stock up for the season at a very substantial savings!  As usual, free delivery of your chemicals and all other pool products is offered with every purchase from D & L Pools.  Please keep in mind the Early Buy for chemicals also includes Baquacil, E-Z Pool, and all of our other specialty chemical products for your pool.  A quick word about E-Z Pool:  We experienced a whopping 700% increase in E-Z Pool popularity in 2010 from our customers.  This stuff just flat out works!  Check out the advantages of using E-Z Pool under the Chemical section of our Home Page.

 

D & L POOLS, INC. NEW CREDIT POLICY

We can’t stress enough our appreciation of the huge majority of our customers that rely on D & L Pool for their pool and spa care needs.  For really the first time in our company’s history, however, we have found it necessary to implement a new credit policy for our company.  Most of our customers have always paid their bills on time and for that we are very thankful.  When a problem did arise that prevented someone from paying their bill on time, we have been able to work with them for a short period of time until their problem was resolved.  In these trying economic times, however, there has been an increase in those seeming to wish to take advantage of leniency by not paying their bills altogether.  As a small family owned company, we simply cannot continue to absorb the kind of losses we incurred in 2010.  Our new credit policy still allows for a 30 day payment period from the date of invoice, and really will not affect those that handle credit responsibly.  Because of a “few bad apples” it is now necessary for all wishing to receive a 30 day window to pay your invoices to review our new Credit Policy/Form found on our Home Page and complete the form by providing the requested information.   Until that form is accepted by us, all products and services will be required to be paid for at the time of receipt.  We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but thank you for your understanding.
